Michael graduated from Notre Dame University in 2009 after first studying a Health & Education Degree then his Physiotherapy Degree.

Michael subsequently worked in the public hospital system (Osborne Park Hospital). He also opened his home visit physiotherapy practice in early 2012. Perth Home Physio has been his main focus. He has seen many patients with a wide variety of conditioins. The age range he has seen covers the whole spectrum from 15 – 106! He has a special interest in neurological conditions and falls prevention. He has also had many patients with musculoskeletal conditions where he enjoys the challenge to make a difference to his patients lives.

One of the main reasons Michael wanted to become a physiotherapist is because he has had a myriad of sporting injuries and has seen many therapists over the years. He has always felt that there could have been more to make the therapy more personalised and individual. He always makes sure that his patients understand their injuries, but more importantly give them the tools to self manage their injuries.

Michael has developed a keen interest in treating and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions  using both dry needling and manual therapies techniques to get excellent results. In clinic he enjoys the challenges in treating a wide variety of patient ages and conditions. Michael is passionate about providing and making excellent client experiences, thriving on making all his clients a part of the process.

Michael has 4 children to his partner Jenny, which makes their lives very busy. He also describes himself as a sporting tragic. He has played hockey for many years. He even manages and coaches many teams including his eldest son's team.

Jenny Nordon

Jenny is an integral part of the team at Skills 2 Move and Perth Home Physio. She manages both businesses and ensures the daily grind is much easier. Jenny looks after the books and the management of the practice, giving Michael the time to focus on patient care.

The work Jenny does for both businesses is sometimes a thankless job but one that she enjoys. She is looking forward to spending more time at the clinic & meeting the patients.

Jenny is a keen yoga participant and is regularly seen walking around Bibra Lake. She is always running around with 4 children to taxi everywhere, but manages to fit it all in somehow.

Jenny is the first port of call at the practice for all billing and communication needs.
